6 (1).jpgAndrew Shostak, long standing executive team member and Head of Deluxe’s Method Studios commercials brand in Australia since 2012 is set to depart mid May.

As a result, Merrin Jensen is promoted to general manager Method Melbourne. Going forward, she and Sydney GM Brenden Johnson will report into Alaric McAusland, managing director of Deluxe Australia.

Says McAusland: “Andrew joined Deluxe following our acquisition of leading advertising post business MRPPP where he was their general manager. Under the new Deluxe ownership and Andrew’s strong stewardship our Australian commercial business was rebranded as Method and launched in Australia in 2012 to great success.

“For the last four years Method Studios in Melbourne and Sydney have continued to set a higher bar for creative excellence and client service in advertising across Australia and Asia. We would like to take the opportunity of thanking Andrew for his contribution to Method’s previous successes and for setting up the business for a bright future.”

Says Shostak: “I’ve been at the helm of MRPPP and Method for over a decade and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazingly talented artists and creative clients over the years, and whilst it is incredibly tough to leave the great people I love working with, I feel the time is right for a change. I really want to thank Deluxe and in particular its managing director Alaric Mcausland for their great support and belief in me over the years in helping our business grow so substantially.

“I’m so proud of what we’ve managed to achieve here over the last 12 years, and I am incredibly comfortable in leaving our great Method Studios brand in the very capable hands of Merrin Jensen, our general manager in Melbourne and Brenden Johnson our general manager in Sydney.”
