Konrad-Tom-Vic_03 (1).jpgIsobar has promoted Thomas Tearle (centre) to the role of general manager of its Sydney office, where he will be charged with executing the overall Isobar strategy in Sydney.

Tearle has been a group account director in the Sydney office for the past two years, driving Isobar’s clients’ business forward and building a very strong account service team. Previous to his time at Isobar, Tearle has over 11 year’s digital experience spanning London and Australia, most recently with WPP in Sydney.

Recent wins for Isobar Sydney include Foxtel, ANZ, Hershey’s and PayPal, demonstrating the true depth of the service offering from strategy and experience design to content and mobile.

Tearle joins the national management team, reporting into group general manager Victoria Gehrig (above, right). This team implements the national strategy under the direction of CEO Konrad Spilva (above, left).

Says Gehrig: “Tom has led global and local client business for several years, has a proven track record in the industry, builds and retains strong motivated teams, displays strong financial acumen and goof judgement. For these reasons, we believe Tom is the right person to lead our business in Sydney.”

Says Tearle on his new role: “The opportunity to lead such a great digital agency at a point in time where we are both digital and CX agency of the year if fantastic. We’re in the business of delivering experiences but we spend just as much time helping clients adapt their processes, systems and business in general to stay ahead of the competition.

“Isobar is a different agency, our values are a real thing, rather than other agencies where they might be mentioned at induction and forgotten from that moment forwards. We live our values everyday and that makes this a pretty special place to work.

“I love that we can deliver real value for our clients from communications to platform and consulting to design thinking, all in one place.”

Tearle’s role is effective immediately.
