RadiumOne announces three new hires Michael Whiteside, Luke Bussell and Ameya Bhave

RadiumOne.jpgRadiumOne has announced three new hires, further testimony that Australian brands and agencies are embracing the opportunity to gather and activate consumer sharing data – to connect the dots between owned, earned and paid marketing channels.

Michael Whiteside (left) joins the team in the role of Victorian/NZ sales director, and Luke Bussell (right) as head of business development – Australia.  The marketing technology company is also dialing up its data services capability, appointing Ameya Bhave as RadiumOne Australia’s first locally based data scientist.

Adam Furness, director of sales and business development, said ongoing commercial success had led to the need to further increase RadiumOne’s presence across Australia and New Zealand.

Whiteside, Victorian/NZ sales director joins from Amobee, where he spent the past 18-months as Victorian sales director. Whiteside brings with him a decade of digital media experience in the Melbourne market involving cross-platform publishers (Yahoo!7) and cross-channel networks (Adconion and Amobee).  

Demonstrating his ability to consistently exceed customer expectations and broker win-win solutions for both business and customer, Michael was also recently recognised as the client-voted Media i Victorian Digital Sales Representative of the year.

Coming into the newly created head of business development role is Bussell. Bussell moves across from Brand New Media where he spent the past year as group partnership director. Prior to that Bussell was group sales manager at Southern Cross Austereo for 8+ years, establishing a proven track record of consistently delivering commercial success and exceeding client expectations.

Bussell will be focused on growing publisher and rights holder partnerships.

Ameya Bhave has joined as RadiumOne’s first Australia based data scientist.

Says Furness: “We are particularly impressed with Ameya’s diverse marketing and ecommerce background in large emerging markets.”

Bhave was previously with one of Africa’s largest ecommerce marketplaces, VConnect. Prior to that he spent several years as a senior business analyst with Evalueserve, one of India’s largest banking and financial services companies.

Furness said the Australian market is one of the worlds most advanced when it comes to martech and adtech.
