In her previous role as planning director, Taylor led strategy teams for agency clients including Samsung and McDonald’s. She has spent 15 years working in strategy and planning roles as an integrated specialist in digital and above the line and strategic consultancy.

Says Pete Bosilkovski, chief executive officer, Leo Burnett Sydney: “Emily has been a key part of the Connect model over the past 12 months. Her diverse experience in digital, brand consultancy, innovation and passion for user first problem solving will make her brilliantly effective at leading the Connect way of working and thinking. Emily’s focus will be to ensure we continue to use consumer first strategy to find fundamentally new ways of building brands in a constantly evolving world that puts people, their needs and their behaviours at the centre.

“I am proud that we are yet again able to promote outstanding talent from within and know that Connect Strategy will continue to thrive under Emily’s proven leadership and build on the successes we have already achieved for clients including Canon and Diageo.”

Says Taylor: “The power of Connect Strategy is the diverse skill set of the team and the connected thinking that enables. It is a new approach to building brands in a way that keeps them ahead of the curve. I relish the opportunity to lead the team as we create solutions that connect people and brands in innovative ways.”

Connect Strategy launched in August 2015 with an offering including full service Media (buying and planning), strategy, social, PR, digital, shopper, innovation, business consultancy and data.
