Red Agency leads Australian agency pack at the shortlist stage of the 2016 PRWeek Asia Awards
PR, social and experiential agency, Red Agency Australia, has continued its stellar awards run being shortlisted for nine categories at the 2016 PRWeek Asia Awards – the region’s most entered PR award show. Red Agency is the most nominated individual agency of the competition, beating their own record of seven nominations in the 2015 Awards.
Other Australian agencies nominated include Weber Shandwick with six, Ogilvy PR with four, Atomic 212 and Howorth with two each. Sling & Stone, Pulse Communications, Hill + Knowlton Strategies and Adhesive PR have all been nominated twice, whilst Tourism NT, Text100 Australia, Eleven, CampaignLab and SAP Australia have been nominated once.
Red Agency has once again made the ‘Agency of the Year’ shortlist for Australia and New Zealand, an award they are defending for an unprecedented fourth year running. Other agencies in the running include Eleven, Sling & Stone, Weber Shandwick and Pulse Communications, part of Ogilvy PR Australia.
Red Agency’s not-for-profit project The Captain’s Ride for the Steve Waugh Foundation, which it worked on with sister agency Havas Worldwide, received two nominations being listed in both the ‘Sports Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Nonprofit Campaign of the Year’ categories. Red Agency’s Hunger in the Classroom campaign for longstanding nonprofit client Foodbank has also been listed in the same category.
