ThreeWiseMen-thumb-400x221-158997.jpgMelbourne agency Three Wise Men, two of whom are former Grey executives Randal Glennon and Nigel Dawson, has been awarded a new anti-smoking campaign after a competitive pitch against a number of Melbourne and Sydney agencies. The campaign is being jointly funded by Cancer Council Victoria and Cancer Institute NSW and is planned to air in both markets in 2017.

Says Glennon, managing partner at Three Wise Men: “This is a tremendous appointment for us and right in our behavioural change sweet spot. Motivating smokers to quit is a tough challenge, but one that we’re absolutely delighted to take on.”

Amy Collie, marketing manager – prevention, Cancer Council Victoria, says she is really excited to be working with Three Wise Men.

Says Collie: “They showed a really good grasp of the problem and had impressive ideas for solving it. But I guess we shouldn’t be surprised given their outstanding track record with social marketing campaigns.”

The anti-smoking campaign is expected to build in stages over the next three to four years.

The win adds to the momentum that Three Wise Man has built over the past months including new work for private health insurer Defence Health, instant turf company HG Turf, and Evolution Health, manufacturer of Life Space Probiotics and Elmore Oil.
