Peter Nizic joins In The Thicket in CD role

ITT_Peter_Nizic (1).jpgIn The Thicket has appointed award-winning animation director Peter Nizic who joins the team as creative director.

Peter joined In The Thicket after honing his skills with Mighty Nice, Foxtel and Hackett Films. His recent work includes animated and stop motion campaigns for Carsguide, 1 Cover and Spotlight On Alfred Hitchcock which won Gold Promax ANZ for Most Outstanding Design in Promotion and Silver Promax ANZ for Best Design without Footage, two years in a row for subsequent campaigns. The 2015 edition also won Gold Promax ANZ for Best Movie Promo and Bronze Promax ANZ for Best Traditional Animation, adding to 4 wins at Promax Global Excellence Awards, most notably Gold for Best On-Air Illustration and Gold for Best Art Direction in a Program Promotional Spot.

Other honours include being showcased in Australian Creative Magazine’s “Annual 2013”, highlighting the Gruen Nation 2013 title sequence, co-directed with James Hackett for the ABC, as “one of the standout works of the year”.
