Riviera dreaming enjoyed at Passion Pictures Melbourne’s recent intimate rosé soirée

In anticipation of the air-kissing, terrace-swanning and pink-drink imbibing that is endemic to the Cannes Lions festival, Passion Pictures Melbourne (in collaboration with Blackhearts & Sparrows) hosted an intimate evening of rosé tasting and education (with some cheese nibbling thrown in for good measure).

Well-attended by the local creative community (in spite of the not-at-all-Riviera-esque weather), guests enjoyed an educational romp through an array of delicious tipples, ranging in provenance from home sweet home, to Moldova (who knew?!) and settling finally in rosé’s motherland, Provence.

Says Katie Mackin, executive producer, Passion Pictures Melbourne: “We thought it would be a fun opportunity to get together locally before the craziness of Cannes hits. Tonight was the first in a series of events coming up at the studio, so stay tuned.”
