Specialising in creating characters and worlds that make audiences laugh, cry and/or cringe, Logue’s style has earned him numerous industry accolades from the Cannes International Advertising Festival, IdN Magazine, Shots Magazine, the St Kilda Festival and the ARIA Awards.

SO Productions is now bringing this coveted comedy, performance and visual director to the Melbourne market via freelance representation on its growing roster.

Says Andrew Coyle, executive director, SO Production: “Josh’s art direction background informs his strong visual approach. But more than creating work that looks good, he’s an assured comedy director – it’s no surprise he’s in high demand. We’re confident the Melbourne market will lap up his unique comedic flair.”

With a solid list of clients under his belt including Google, McDonald’s, Telstra, NRL, Microsoft, Heineken, MTV, Tim Tams, KFC, Nestle and AIM, Josh’s work spans beyond TVCs and into brand entertainment. He’s delivered cross-platform campaigns for heavy weight clients such as VISA, ING, Mountain Dew, Virgin Airlines, Samsung, Optus, Commonwealth Bank, Lynx, Vodafone, Tourism Tasmania, Nando’s, Hungry Jack’s and SBS World Movies. Most recently he’s been developing a comedy series pilot ‘The Tickles’ – Spinal Tap meets The Wiggles.

Says Logue: “SO is a new type of production house that wants to disrupt the usual way things are done. As a freelance director I’m attracted to their smart and agile thinking. I have a hands on approach to directing and they understand that, thus it’s a perfect fit.”
