Drug and Alcohol Services South Australia and Jamshop Adelaide tackle indigenous smokers

katrina.jpgSmoking is still one of the biggest killers within indigenous communities in Australia. In fact, Indigenous people are six times more likely as non-Indigenous people to die from smoking related deaths. Too many young lives are cut short in a society where smoking is the norm and not the exception.

Jamshop Adelaide in collaboration with Drug and Alcohol Services South Australia (DASSA) created a calendar using ambassadors from the Indigenous community who shared their demons, struggles and stories. See high res files below.
