Frank Digital lures key hire Alistair Berry from Sitecore for principal enterprise architect role

Sydney-based digital agency, Frank Digital, has appointed former Sitecore expert Alistair Berry as its principal enterprise architect, based at the agency’s head office in Glebe.

Heading up the agency’s enterprise division, Berry will drive growth of key accounts, overseeing the integration and optimisation of enterprise CMS platforms that will enable organisations to develop a holistic view of the customer experience across all channels and devices.

Frank Digital’s founder and creative director Matt Barbelli said the agency had successfully made its transition into the enterprise space: “Alistair will play a crucial role overseeing the implementation of the Sitecore Experience Platform for a number of our clients.

“Alistair has a strong interest in using his knowledge of software design and development to push the boundaries of the digital experience with robust solutions. Alistair has a strong passion in ensuring development processes and practices are followed and the right development tools are used.”

Berry joins Frank from Sitecore where he worked as a consultant and later Solution Architect, working on a large number of clients and partners across multiple sectors including finance, education, government, publishing and tourism. Alistair has helped clients and its partners on various stages of their projects, from Greenfield projects with scope and requirements gathering, to implementation and support.

Berry also worked across multiple upgrade, migration and re-development projects for various Sitecore clients over the past three years, driving integrations on various CRMs (including Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce), social, email and commerce systems. In addition to project consultation, Alistair has provided training and performed a number of reviews on Sitecore projects. He was also a key speaker at Sitecore’s Trendspot in 2014.
