Hamish and Zoe ‘bring it’ in a brand new TV spot for Bonds Sport via Leo Burnett Melbourne
Bonds is set to become a major player in the sport segment with the introduction of its first ever cross-category sports range. To launch Bonds Sport, Aussies everywhere are being asked to Bring It via a new campaign from Leo Burnett Melbourne.
Fronted by celebrity couple and workout buddies, Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster Blake, the campaign is led by a TVC where the two battle it out in new Bonds Sport. True to the spirit of the Bonds brand, the spot bucks the trend of serious sports advertising by showing the lighter side of a little competition. The action is driven by Canberra based, Citizen Kay’s track ‘Yes!’.
Says Jason Williams, CCO, Leo Burnett: “The sports category is saturated with seriousness; we wanted to change things up with a humorous truth every couple will relate to.”
Says Emily Small, head of marketing, Bonds: “It was important to find the right mix of sport, fashion and fun. Hamish and Zoe were the perfect fit to bring the launch to life.”
The TVC is supported by outdoor and online communications.
