Based in Sydney, Halliday joins Imagination having previously led strategy teams at marketing agency Wunderman and customer experience agency MercerBell. Prior to that, Halliday had a distinguished international career with management consultants Accenture and PWC.

Bringing prior experience on client accounts including Microsoft, P&G, Toyota, Ikea and Amex, the new position will see Halliday drive Imagination Sydney’s strategic offering across live, brand, digital, social, content, environment and customer experience (CX).

Imagination ECD Michelle Schuberg says Halliday’s strategic acumen across multiple disciplines is a strong addition to Imagination’s integrated creative structure: “I think our space is particularly tricky when it comes to strategy as we need a blend of business strategy and creative strategy. Will’s experience in both arenas make him a formidable and exciting addition to the Imagination team.

“Will excels in the nexus between strategy, creativity and technology. He’s got a strong track record of collaborating with creative teams to develop big ideas that are integrated across all channels and deliver brilliant customer experiences. We’re thrilled that he’s on board to further enrich our strategic offering.”

Halliday says he’s looking forward to leveraging Imagination’s ‘maker culture’ in strategic planning, and further consolidating the agency’s position as a leading integrated creative presence: “Imagination is renowned for connecting people to experiences they love in a more personal, engaging and memorable way.

“The innovations that are coming out of ImaginationLabs and the agency at large are pushing the boundaries of our industry. From the immersive experience of the Anzac battleground to the sensorial celebration of Sydney New Years Eve, Imagination is consistently generating top shelf work. I couldn’t be happier to join the team.”
