The Royals, Melbourne hires vinyl-loving Stuart Nightingale from London for creative director role
The Royals, Melbourne has recruited Stuart Nightingale from London as a creative director.
With over a decade of advertising experience within various London agencies, Nightingale brings with him a fully integrated approach to creativity, alongside a vast collection of records.
Over the course of 11 years as part of the same creative team in London, Nightingale worked across some of the world’s biggest brands before moving to Melbourne.
Says Nick Cummins, executive creative director at The Royals: “Stuart’s modern meets traditional approach makes for both interesting ideas as well as interesting outfit choices.”
Says Nightingale: “When I first stumbled across The Royals I thought they looked like a curious bunch of misfits doing interesting things together. As a curious misfit myself, it feels like home. We’re an agency that is always hungry to learn more, which is a good way to be.”

No local woman could fill this position?
@ #womenwhere – no local men could fill it either by the looks of it, there goes your theory.
No local men, either.
hey guys… this is how Brexit happened. Why the xenophobia?
Tom. From here.
They had a local hire before. He was rubbish and left. So now they’ve had to look further afield. Get over it.
I heard the ex CD was very good but got pushed out because of personal differences.
Misfits? – is this an indication of an agency that can’t get their act together?
He’ll leg it in no time. 6 months max.
Royal assholes!
Let’s hope out local agencies and business fucks you, royally!
Wow, thats a lot of animosity! The guy got a job you wanted and happens to have a funny accent – you didn’t…… big deal. Thank fuck he’s not Muslim or we’d come out with the both the metaphorical and actual pitchforks.
In other news my wife recently got hired as CEO for multinational design consultancy. Why? Because she’s really good at what she does – and likely #womenwhere you’re simply not….. Go have a coke and smile and shut the fuck up.
