GI Joe takes centre stage in Subaru’s latest campaign for all-new Subaru Levorg via Disciple
Sydney creative agency Disciple has created a campaign for the launch of the all-new turbocharged Subaru Levorg.
The launch commercial features the action figure GI Joe pleading with his owners to get him out of his box, get into a Levorg and get amongst some action.
Says Amanda Leaney, national marketing manager, Subaru Australia: “The all-new Levorg is a brilliant combination of power and practicality and this campaign captures both beautifully. It’s different. It’s funny. And highly campaignable right through the path-to-purchase.”
Says Peter Buckley, creative partner, Disciple: “Getting out and doing awesome stuff with the people you love is what our new Subaru brand platform is all about. This campaign extends the highly successful Forester work in a similarly engaging way.”

Genuinely enjoyed this.

That pun is so clever. Out of the box. Ha, good one dad.
I’m surprised Rabbit took on this script.
Are we watching the same ad? Didn’t mind it so much. Didn’t blow my mind either.
Puppets give me nightmares sometimes.

Made me chuckle
Given how hard it is to get anything good through clients I think this will work well. Looks good. Sounds good.
I laughed. Car looks pretty slick

A very ordinary-looking, un-exciting car. A tortured, almost impenetrable idea. Dolls. Mmmmm… Not an ad to be viewed immediately after the Swedish Ikea spot.
Not really interested in the car but where can I buy THAT DOLL, especially in the Army outfit with the sunnies on. Well done, great ad, bloody love it, it cracks me up every time I see it. Whoever did it has a great sense of humour
Does it bother anyone the the original do do do song was about Warhol factory drag queen prostitutes?
