Marmalade Melbourne and Rumble Creative & Media tie in last night’s Pitch brief on Gruen
On Gruen last night, Marmalade Melbourne and Rumble Creative & Media, Brisbane won equal first in one of the toughest Pitch briefs to date.
The two agencies tied with two votes each from the Gruen panel.
Says John Akritidis, partner and creative director at Marmalade: “Convincing Americans to hand in their guns required us to channel our behaviour change experience and get to the heart of the problem. The gun lovers who also love their war heroes.”
Says James Burchill, creative partner, Rumble Creative & Media: “We targeted the real obstacle blocking gun control reform. Let’s face it, if 20 grade one students being mown down in one day doesn’t shock you into action, only legislation will.”

Both fantastic
American Soldiers are my heroes and therefore I hero the first one.
Marmalade’s has a better chance of working.
Sorry ‘MARMALADE’ but Marmalade would never say this out loud! Thanks for your vote though.
