Superdream gruen (1).jpgOn last night’s episode of Gruen, Brisbane’s newest full-service, PR and marketing agency, Superdream took home the trophy. Superdream battled it out with another Brisbane-based agency Engine in The Pitch, taking a crack at convincing Australians to pave the Great Barrier Reef.

Superdream’s Australian director, Kirsty Visman says the brief was challenging but also a great opportunity to showcase the capabilities of the agency.

Says Visman: “Convincing Australians to pave Great Barrier Reef is certainly challenging, but we had a lot of fun playing around with different creative concepts. Our winning pitch focused on giving everyone the perfect reef experience without the worry of dangerous marine life or unpleasant coral bleaching.

“Essentially, we convinced Australians to pave over the reef to make way for a new virtual reality experience, Reef 2.0, remembering the reef at its best, making it available for future generations.

“We are thrilled to have taken part in Gruen. It’s a great recognition of our capabilities as a new agency.”

Superdream opened in Australia earlier this year and were the masterminds behind the daring social experiment, ‘Would You Walk Past?’ for Key Assets Australia.

Backed by a larger sister company in the UK, the Superdream team comprises of PR, marketing, web and design experts, servicing a number of clients in multiple industries including, Paramount Pictures Australia.

Hosted by Will Anderson, Gruen is one of the most-watched entertainment programs on Wednesday night and smashed The Bachelor Australia in a ratings war in its first episode of the season.
