Carat Brisbane appoints new group business director Emma Weston to lead Tatts Group

Emma Weston (1).jpgCarat Brisbane has recruited UM’s former head of partnerships, Emma Weston, to lead the charge on one of the agency’s biggest clients, appointing her the new group business director on Tatts Group.

Weston’s considerable talent and experience make her an exciting acquisition for the agency, with her appointment the result of a comprehensive recruitment process. A Brisbane-native, Weston is well-respected in market, having spent 10+ years working on both media owner and agency side, including successfully leading the McDonald’s account at UM since 2013.

Carat Brisbane managing director, Gab Merrick, emphasised Weston’s client service and stakeholder management skills as a key factor in her selection.

Says Merrick: “I’m very excited about Emma’s addition to the Carat team. She is an outstanding individual with an exceptional work ethic and a proven ability to challenge long held beliefs in a sensitive and articulate manner. I have no doubt she will be a hands on GBD, supporting the team internally and leading our overall offering for Tatts Group.”

Weston starts at Carat Brisbane on Monday 24th October.
