Director Armand de Saint-Salvy joins //13&CO
Production collective //13&CO has announced that Sydney director Armand de Saint-Salvy has joined its roster for representation in Australia and New Zealand.
De Saint-Salvy’s hilarious Manchild film landed him on the scene in 2015 as one of only 10 finalists selected globally in the Doritos “Crash The Superbowl” competition.
In the short time since, this versatile director/editor and all-round-nice-guy has directed TVCs across numerous genres and had his work featured prominently in advertising award shows around the world. His last two Skoda campaigns for DDB Sydney were finalists at Spikes Asia 2016.
De Saint-Salvy’s approach to performance humour and passion for daring creative made him a compelling choice for //13&CO executive producer Roy De Giorgio.
Says De Giorgio: “Armand is a natural storyteller, intelligent and considered. His work always puts a smile on my face.”
De Saint-Salvy, who was formerly at Photoplay Films, had this to say: “It felt like a no brainer to join the talented //13&CO roster. They just seem to get the creative process. Not to mention Roy and I have multi-barrelled wanker euro last names, so it’s hard not to think we were always destined to work together.”
De Saint-Salvy’s work is now transcending the comedy category. His first foray into VFX and animation have recently been awarded at AEAF and he has just completed a multi-commercial Holden campaign for AJF Melbourne which saw him shooting in Australia and Germany.
