Aardwolf Founders (1).jpgMike Hill (centre), founder of Holler Australia, who departed in March this year, has launched Aardwolf – a startup studio built for brands. The company has been formed by Hill and the founders of 25Fifteen Luke Carruthers (left) and Kim Heras (right), to help brands quickly launch and test new startups, products and services.

Says Hill of the new venture: “I’m delighted to be working with Luke and Kim. Between them they have set up and exited from over 20 startups. They bring with them a great technical and strategic offering from years of building successful startups. And now under Aardwolf we’re showing brands how they can do something similar.”

Says Carruthers: “We are creating a new breed of Australian startup that brands are funding to replace weakening traditional ad models. Our shared risk approach and innovative financial models allow us to move quickly to achieve things brands thought weren’t possible with existing agency relationships.”

Aardwolf’s own startups are currently in production. The first will be launching in early 2017. Hill left Holler in March this year.
