Karla.jpgAfter six months attending to her most demanding client yet, beautiful bub Kane, Karla Henwood has returned to her role as EP and head of music, and the advertising soundscape of melodic compositions and jingles are sounding better already.

Henwood has been a part of the Nylon team for over eight years and along with her many awards and accolades, is also the founder of CIA, Chicks in Advertising.

Says Hamish Macdonald, global EP, Nylon: “Karla has long since been a friend, but now finally a colleague, so I’ve been excitedly waiting to have back. Her depth of knowledge of music, and how best to work with our composers here and in New York make her an invaluable member of the team.”

Nylon has just completed another VR spatial sound campaign, following the success of the Bombing of Darwin installation, with a Samsung Netball spot for Rapid VR’s director Craig Rasmus and the Iris Agency. So along with some incredibly creative TVCs for Westpac, Skoda, Tourism Australia and Audi already on the airwaves, it has been a busy few months and exciting times ahead.
