CreativeRAW-A.jpgAfter a short hiatus the annual MADC Creative RAW competition is back and this year it will be remarkably different. Applications are now open with places strictly limited.

Previously a print-based competition, this year’s brief will be for a digital campaign for charity One Girl. Taking place over one day, the competition brief will aid One Girl’s mission to educate 1 million girls across Africa.

The competition will be judged by a bevvy of Melbourne’s best creative directors and key sponsor Mr. Smith will assist with the execution of the winning idea.

Says Grant Rutherford, president, MADC: “This year we’re giving young and hungry creative teams the opportunity to work on what is probably the best brief Creative RAW has ever offered. With just a day to conceptualise, it’s really going to test what they’re made of. But the winning team will get to see their idea through to finished product thanks to the help of Mr. Smith. It’s a chance to do something good for charity and their career. And we’re looking for Melbourne’s hottest young teams to compete and places are limited. So send in your best work to apply.”

Eligible entrants must have less than three years’ experience in the industry. Entrants need to apply as a team and be available for the whole day. Fee of $35 per person applies for participating entrants. Winning team must be willing to see their campaign through with the support of Mr. Smith and One Girl.
