QT-Mobile.jpgAPAC mobile network QT Mobile has today announced the opening of its Jakarta office, further expanding its presence in South East Asia.

The expansion follows the company’s strong growth in the region over the past 12 months, having signed a number of exclusive trade agreements with local operators, on both the publisher and advertiser side.

QT managing director, Pete McKeon, said the move was made due to high demand from local advertisers looking to drive rapid expansion of their mobile user base throughout South East Asia, in particular in Indonesia.

Says McKeon: “We’re driving a growing number of direct advertiser campaigns and signing a lot of new contracts in the region, so it made perfect sense to put a team on the ground.

“By opening our Jakarta office, we’ll be able to better service the local market and continue our rapid growth across South East Asia.”

Mobile ad spend is forecast to surpass US$95bn globally in 2017, with APAC the second largest mobile market behind North America. Huge growth in internet connectivity across APAC has created a mobile-first market, with Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam seeing some of the world’s highest levels of mobile penetration.

QT Mobile is optimistic about what lies ahead with endless potential and enormous growth opportunities throughout the region.
