WW LIVE BIGGER (1).jpgFollowing a competitive pitch, Sydney-based integrated marketing agency Magnum & Co has been named the successful agency to represent iconic lifestyle brand Weight Watchers (WW) in Australia.

Magnum & Co will work with WW to show how its holistic lifestyle program delivers results for women who want to live bigger. Collaborating with other WW agency partners, including BMF, it will show how the brand is changing the lives of its members for the better.

Says Paul Schiffner, managing director, WW Australasia: “We are really pleased to be working with Magnum & Co because it’s clear they understand brands that are building relevance amongst new audiences, which is our goal. As a leader in the health space for the last 50 years, we understand consumers’ deepest feelings regarding health and weight loss and look forward to working with Magnum & Co to present WW as a brand of the future and a brand that has its members at its heart.”

Magnum & Co’s general manager, Aaron Crowther said the partnership will be an integrated one to both challenge misconceptions while highlighting how progressive WW is.

Says Crowther: “WW is based on proven and trusted science – not just from a food perspective but also when it comes to the important roles that attitude and confidence play in health. Many aren’t aware how considered WW’s holistic approach is, nor how personalised it’s become.

Crowther said it’s an interesting area to work in from a brand perspective but also from a health point of view because it has such deep social implications: “We believe our work with WW will make for a healthier generation and a deeper understanding of what it means to live bigger.

“Winning WW is a testament to the fact that our insights-lead, strategic approach is attracting progressive brands who want to do things differently and see true impact. We couldn’t be happier.”

Magnum & Co’s work with Weight Watchers will see it operate across influencer marketing, PR, content creation, experiential and social media management. In recent months, the agency has also been appointed by Carlton & United Breweries, Harman Kardon/JBL and Yates.
