eYmtfXCT.jpgGrowth agency PENSO has been appointed by Australian Unity to manage brand strategy, creative and – in partnership with Atomic 212 – media.

PENSO, which partnered with Atomic 212 for the pitch, edged out two other agency groupings to secure the business.

The Melbourne headquartered agency will develop an overarching marketing and brand strategy, and handle creative work for the 176-year-old business, as well as raising awareness about the work of its health, wealth and living platforms.

Australian Unity is a national healthcare, financial services, and independent and assisted living organisation providing services to almost one million customers, including 300,000 members nationwide.

Says Con Frantzeskos, founder and CEO, PENSO: “Australian Unity is one of the country’s oldest and most respected mutual organisations with many great brands. We are delighted they selected us to implement a new brand strategy and creative platform and look forward to partnering with them to drive further growth for their businesses.”

Says Laura Jennings, head of brand engagement, Australian Unity: “PENSO demonstrated strong strategic and creative thinking during the pitch which can be applied to all aspects of a business of our scale. As a medium sized agency, they offer capabilities and the seniority required to answer our complex business problems.”

PENSO was founded under four years ago and in addition to its Melbourne base, it has a rapidly growing operation based in Dubai. It works with clients including Emirates Group, AWB, Yas Island, Business Council of Australia, IMG Worlds, and Collingwood Football Club.

The first work for Australian Unity is expected to be released by the end of the year.
