Awarded Perth creative director Dav Tabeshfar has unveiled his new agency brand, &Partners.

Tabeshfar said the philosophy of the agency – embodied in the name – is to work collaboratively with teams built around specific projects: “We take a look at a client’s advertising challenge and put together a team of proven pros. When the team’s work is done, they go off and do other things; things that the client doesn’t have to pay for. It’s a bit like one of those heist movies where George Clooney puts a team of specialists together to rob a casino – without the robbing, the casino or George Clooney.”

Over a twenty year career, most recently as creative director of J Walter Thompson in Perth, Tabeshfar has created and directed campaigns for a wide range of clients. For &Partners, he has developed a roster of designers, art directors, developers and project managers that he knows can deliver. He said exactly who is involved depends on the particular brief.

“We won’t put a team together until we’ve had a good look at the brand and project. It might just need a Creative Director to partner with a client’s own marketing, social or digital people. Or they might want a whole virtual team. Whoever and whatever a project requires, clients can be sure of two things: our partners are very good at what they do, and they’re nice people who are fun to work with.”

In its first few months, &Partners has worked with Family Zone, Surfstitch.com, Rocky Bay, Flat Tummy Tea, Auto Masters and B1 Homes, with more clients being added.
