Trump’s Aussie mates: former CD Rowan Dean, Mark Latham + Ross Cameron launch new show

Former ad agency creative director Rowan Dean (far left), together with Mark Latham and Ross Cameron, or “Trump’s Aussie Mates”, have teamed up for a new panel show on Sky News called Outsiders, reports Jake Mitchell in today’s Media section of The Australian.
It is an answer to the ABC’s Insiders program, the embodiment of an out-of-touch, inner-city Leftist class, according to the trio.
Former Labor Party leader, Latham, former Howard government frontbencher, Cameron, and editor of The Spectator magazine, Rowan Dean, hosted a US election-day function called Trump’s Aussie Mates on November 9 in Sydney.

You’ll be pleased to know they are already a trio of ratings powerhouses and purveyors of common sense. Your predictions are as amateur as those unlike the aforementioned that have been predicting Trump for months. The only inbreeding that takes place is within the ABC, where intellectually dishonest discourse must be some form of STI. Enjoy your safe space and the rest of your life living in denial.
Last time I looked the ABC have always had a balanced panel on the Insiders with representation from the right and left.
Representation does not mean balanced representation, is the insiders the show with only one conservative that is the weird creature in the corner? You live in such a state of fantasy that you probably think Q&A has balanced representation. At least this show isn’t going to pretend that it is balanced and isn’t funded by the taxpayer. I’ll let you in on a secret: Australia is a center right country, so a balanced panel would probably be closer to The Outsiders an ABC show.

I’d prefer Bernie Sanders but for me Trump is a dream come true.
He’s already scrapped the TPP. He’s been seriously talking about pulling the US military out of the middle east. He’s said the Iraq war was a waste of time and Washington would have made a better impact if ‘everybody just went to the beach.’
Outwardly he’s convinced all the dumb-arsed ‘where ma country gone’ right wingers to vote for him but his real policy, not the crap he’s spoken about at conventions is actually quite sane and rational.
I’d love to see how much this in touch, right wing boys party turn on Trump once he stops sending military aid to Israel or takes funding away from the military, which he’s hinted at several times.

For some reason, the left now look after the well to do and the artists and the celebrities, and the right seem to care about the blue collar workers. When did the switch occur?
Can’t wait for Outsiders to air. Commonsense and no political correctness should allow a breath of fresh news and comments the suffering public have been denied in recent years by lefties with their doctrines of rabid socialism articulated by a pc dogma. Our Auntie ABC being the chief guilty party in this drive for everything left wing with little balanced viewpoint. And our taxpayers pay for this perpetual drivel from their studios. Love to see this national broadcaster realigned to give a fair and balanced reporting but that’s not going to happen.

What a FANTASTIC show you produce in the Outsiders. Is anyone else in Australia aware of just what the Trump election means for the WORLD, and not just the USA? Mark Latham, my humble apologies. I realise now we had in you our own Donald Trump but through ignorance and left wing indoctrination stupidly stuck with little Johnnie and look where we are now. Please forgive me in my ignorance. Is it too late? Anyone but Shorten or Pauline, please! I am waiting for you to attack Malcolm, our sorry excuse for a prime minister.
And your Australia Day support, blasting the looney Left, LGBTQI, political correctness, etc is music to our ears. And you are absolutely correct in identifying basic ignorance as the underlying mechanism for the Left views. They seem totally unaware of history. Lincoln was one of the most unpopular presidents because with his Emancipation Act and the 13th amendment he cut off the free labour supply to more than half of America and threatened to ruin them financially. So a Confederate killed him — while his bodyguard had left him alone when he went to get a beer at the theatre bar? Now the Left and the snowflakes fear Trump for the same underlying financial threat. I hope his security is up to it, not just for him but his delightful first family as well.
But for God’s sake keep it all happening in the show because they will try to shut you down. It superbly complements the quality reporting on the Trump phenomenon through O’Reilly, Tucker Carlson and Hannity et al. on Fox News, and to a somewhat variable extent, The Australian. CNN, New York Times, et al. hate Trump because he bypasses them and goes straight to the people via Twitter. Sadly the general Australian population seems so unaware of what’s happening, at least in my circle of acquaintances, not knowing about the Outsiders or Fox News, but everything about Q and A, 4 Corners, the 7.30 Report and other ABC rubbish.
I have Scottish ancestry and my dear mother used the following phrase that I now apply to you and your show. I hope you google it: “Lang may your lum reek”
