Flume_PopUp_AU_Event_4 (1).jpgAustralian record producer, musician and DJ Flume is currently on his massive headline tour of Australia but is stopping in his hometown Sydney for his pop-up exhibition with Australian disciplinary artist Jonathan Zawada.

The pop-up begins today at Surry Hills’ Special Group Studios, 270 Devonshire St and will run until 11th December between the hours of 10am – 6pm.

Flume and Zawada, the artist behind the Aria award winning ‘Skin’ artwork, have launched their pop-up exhibition which showcases the cover art, live graphics, videos and merchandise, and includes eight never seen before motion pieces that feature sound design by Flume.

Says Flume: “I’ve always been a huge fan of Jonathan’s work so it’s been a privilege to have him involved in the visual aesthetic around Skin.

“Visually I’m interested in the contrast of organic and synthetic, Jonathan’s work so cleverly depicts this so it’s been a natural fit for the music. I love the way he embraces technology to twist and contort things from the real world in alien ways.”

The event is made possible by Future Classic, Special Group, Young Henrys, Samsung and Cake Wines.
