Full-service audio creative agency Jingle Punks opens office in Melbourne headed by Janine Kerr

Bringing over eight years of experience in television network and cable and 20+ years of experience within the music industry, Janine will be responsible for expanding the agency’s footprint in Australia, offering custom music services for TV, film and the advertising industry. The new hire comes at a time of continued growth for the agency, which hosts offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, Toronto and Brazil. Janine and the new Australian office will be based in Melbourne.

Says Jared Gutstadt, co-founder, CCO and president, Jingle Punks: “Our goal is to build a physical presence on the ground in Australia and ultimately grow into a fully-fledged creative studio. Janine is highly regarded both in the U.S. and Australia for her in-depth knowledge of music at all levels, and I’m stoked to bring an innovative partner on board that will complement our efforts in raising the bar when it comes to branded music.”

 

Kerr was most recently vice president of Fox Sports Music based in LA, leading creative on music for all in-show and promos under the Fox Sports Group. In this role, she was responsible for running the music department and overseeing Fox Sports Network and Cable, along with Regional Sports, Deportes, Soccer & Soccer +, Big Ten, Fuel, Speed, Fox Sports 1, and Mundo Fox Music. While at FOX, Kerr was instrumental in championing numerous deals for the Jingle Punks team within the entertainment space, including the most recent collaboration with rapper Lil Wayne for Fox Sports 1’s new show, Skip and Shannon: Undisputed. Prior to that, Kerr was director of promo music services at NBC Universal where she first started working with Jingle Punks.
