Nylon Studios scores at the Super Bowl; works with Saatchis NY on new Tide Super Bowl spot

Tide_v1 (1).jpgThe Super Bowl ad space is the industry’s most coveted piece of advertising real estate, often referred to as the Academy Awards of Advertising. This year, Australia’s Nylon Studios showcased its music and sound design to over 100 million viewers for Saatchi & Saatchi’s New York client, Tide laundry detergent. The spot features legendary hall of famer Terry Bradshaw, New England Patriots’ injured tight end Rob Gronkowski and actor Jeffrey Tambor.

Says Adam Moses, Nylon Studio’s composer, and self-confessed sports fanatic: “It was such an exciting dream come true, that’s why you get into this business – to one day get your shot at a Super Bowl jingle”.

The creative idea was an interactive social media success, with Bradshaw’s shirt being stained during the live Fox broadcast, then the 75″ commercial was broadcast as if it was happening in real time.

Says Karla Henwood, executive producer, Nylon Sydney: “In producing the commercial the Nylon New York and Sydney team’s ability to collaborate around the clock with sound design and music composition again proved to be the winning combination to get the best final result to air and we look forward to more opportunities like this in the future.”
