Brand activation agency The Spaceship helps Aussie gamers create their own Xbox game

It will offer students and gaming fans the chance to take part in a range of interactive workshops taught by teachers from the Academy of Interactive Entertainment covering all of the basics of designing, developing and programming a game.
The Xbox Academy will host its first class in April inside the flagship Microsoft store, which showcases the very best of Microsoft to the local community in its two-story, 6000 square-foot space located at Westfield Sydney on Pitt Street Mall.
Says Kumar Manix, founder and creative director, The Spaceship: "We're thrilled to be launching Xbox Academy in Sydney, and bringing the energy and passion of Xbox to the amazing retail experience that is the flagship Microsoft Store. This is a great community initiative and builds on the Superbowl and Lego camps we ran at the Microsoft Store in 2016."
