Beyond a European creative hub for Innocean offices in Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Moscow and Istanbul, the challenge set for Muntz, who took the job in May 2016, by worldwide CCO Jeremy Craigen was to approach Berlin as a true ‘start-up’.

It is not yet clear the reasons for his departure and attempts to reach Muntz overnight were unsuccessful.

Prior to Innocean Muntz was ECD at J. Walter Thompson Melbourne for eight years, which included a stint at sister agency BlueHive Australia. Before that he was a copywriter at GPY&R Melbourne from 2004 to 2008.

While at J. Walter Thompson, Muntz lead a creative resurgence of the agency brand in Melbourne, with multiple wins at Cannes, D&AD, Spikes, AdFest, OneShow and Clios.  He was then seconded to BlueHive Australia to relaunch the Ford brand.
