Pizza Hut logo.jpgFollowing competitive pitches, Pizza Hut has announced new agencies will represent the brand in Australia, including Magnum & Co for social media, influencer marketing and PR and The Wired Agency for SEO and SEM. This follows news of The Monkeys’ recent appointment for creative and advertising work on the brand.

Says Justin Olivares, marketing director, Pizza Hut: “We are on a mission to bring back pizza as an experience. Having surveyed the market, we couldn’t be happier to be working with our new partners to share the Pizza Hut story.”

Pizza Hut recently came under new ownership and Olivares said that this news was a further sign that the brand was taking stock of what made it famous originally, while at the same time looking at the future with fresh eyes.

Says Olivares: “We have big plans for the market and our partnership with Magnum & Co and The Wired Agency specifically is a signal of our intent. They are leaders in their respective fields and we want to again show why we are the number one in pizza.”

Olivares said the agencies were already working on campaigns for the brand and the chemistry and ideas from the collective team have been outstanding: “We’re committed to making real waves and our new agencies will be working collaboratively to deliver integrated work. We think this will be critical in bringing the magic back to Pizza Hut. The world has changed, but people still have amazing memories of their early Pizza Hut experiences. In a competitive market, we have our work cut out for ourselves, but we’ve every confidence our partners and our product will raise the bar for pizza in Australia,” he said.

Olivares said Access PR will continue working on Pizza Hut’s corporate communications program.
