Three directors from Jungle score nominations at this year’s Australian Directors Guild Awards

Jungle’s Craig Melville is nominated in the Best Direction in a Commercial category for his work on Air New Zealand’s Summer Wonderland campaign.

Meanwhile The Van Vuuren Bros and Trent O’Donnell (Jungle) have made things awkward at the company Christmas party by going head to head in the Best Direction in TV Comedy for Soul Mates (Van Vuurens) and The Letdown (O’Donnell) respectively.  

It’s is O’Donnell’s 6th nomination, Melville’s 5th and the Van Vuuren’s 2nd.

Other nominees in Best Direction in Commercial Content include Cassie De Colling for Foreign Correspondent, University of Melbourne, Damien Toogood for United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) “The List”, Husein Alicajic for Samsung // Make Your Mark and Paul Middleditch for Nothing Brings People Together Like Lamb.

The ceremony and Gala dinner take place in Melbourne on May 5th, where winners will be announced.
