How will Australia perform at Cannes this year? In the lead up to the Festival, Campaign Brief will be showcasing the work we hope will impress the judges…

The horror of choreographed crash scenes has nothing on the emotional stopping power of your own mother’s taste in music. ‘Time with Mum’ follows license loser, Nate ‘Dawgg’, over 90 days of passenger seat hell, with his Mum firmly in the driver’s seat. Nate is the perfect anti-hero for young drivers who crave control of their love lives, work weeks, and passenger side windows. Twelve scenes played out over 12 weeks, giving young viewers the experience of a real-time license suspension period.

It only takes seconds for a child to drown, and any distraction – even if you’re only checking your mobile phone for a moment – places them at risk. Royal Lifesaving WA asked 303 MullenLowe to make parents more aware of their supervision responsibilities while visiting public pools in light of the fact that drowning is the number one cause of preventable death for children under five in Western Australia. By using WIFI passwords as the medium, 303 MullenLowe turned a distraction into a potentially lifesaving instruction, simply by changing WIFI passwords such as ‘p00L_123’ to messages such as: “you_are_my_lifeguard”.
