Goldy - Target.jpgA city made of office supplies, vegetables boogieing to an acapella tune and transforming trains in Federation Square. This is just a snapshot of the technical and design-focused productions Pixel has been creating over the last few years.

Today Pixel’s expanding its offering with a handful of new directors that fit nicely within the studio’s aesthetic.

Andrew Goldsmith, aka “Goldy”, specialises in graphical, experimental and organic effects and techniques like stop motion and in-camera trickery.

Cameron Gough - Tiny Man.jpgCameron Gough from Dirty Puppet further supplements Pixel’s design and animation offering, expressing his unique voice through a diverse range of styles.

And LA based Guy Franklin whose highly awarded “Classical-Hollywood” sensibilities pair nicely with the studio’s offering.

Says John Gavin, Guy Franklin - Come Into My Head.jpgcreative director, Pixel: “We’ve been taking on design focused production jobs for a while now, but the addition of these great directors represents a serious push into this space for us. Technical or design driven projects need a lot of love from pre through to post, and we think we’re much more valuable as a production company that can span a whole project, rather than a post add-on. We’re stoked to have these guys in the fold to bolster our creative offering.

Pixel offers concept development, illustration, design, production, animation, stop motion and VFX.
