George P. Johnson strengthens business hiring Marc Iacono to the role of director of operations

Screen Shot 2017-06-07 at 7.21.59 am.jpgThe Australian arm of world-leading experience agency George P. Johnson (GPJ) has announced the strategic appointment of Marc Iacono to the newly-created position of director of operations.

Iacono will oversee day-to-day operational activities of the growing business as it continues its evolution as a full service experiential agency.

Iacono brings experience gained in senior production roles at a number of experience and communications agencies to the new role. The appointment also marks a return to the GPJ fold for Iacono, who worked for the business on a contract basis in 2012 for the launch of a streaming service for client Telstra.

Iacono joins GPJ from Momentum Worldwide Australia, where he worked as executive producer – experiential for close to five years. His background also includes roles as head of production at brand experience marketing agency PLAY Communication; head of production at multi-channel broadcaster C4 Live; and VP, executive producer at Jack Morton Worldwide.
