Marcel, Sydney’s head of social Alex Sol Watts departs to take a break from the ad industry
Alex Sol Watts, Marcel, Sydney’s head of social, has departed the agency to take a break from the industry and go back to university, as well as take on occasional freelance assignments.
Says Watts on his LinkedIn page: “A lot has changed since I started working at Pusher. Which became Publicis Pusher. Which became, eventually, Marcel Sydney. I got married! I grew up (and out)! I got way, way better at my job. Our team grew, and our work got great.
“Today (Friday) is my last with the team, so I wanna say thanks. To Kim and Michael for hiring me. For the advice and knowledge of Iona Macgregor and Gavin Levinsohn. For the long hours and great work of Grace, Megan and Maddison. And Pierce and Humyara for keeping me organised most of the time. To Knox for being smarter than me, but being polite enough not to say it.
