Only 35 campaigns have made the cut at the shortlist stage of the 2017 Innovation Lions, including three from Australia: TAC ‘Meet Graham’ via Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne, Westpac ‘Rescue Rashi’ via Saatchi & Saatchi, Sydney and Tiger Beer ‘Air-Ink’ via Marcel, Sydney.
The teams behind each campaign will be asked to present their concept to the jury live over three days, on 17-18 June in Palais II and then 19 June on the showcase stage at the Lions Innovation Festival.

Could you please post a link to the PR or case study of the Saatchi Rescue Rashi? I’ve never heard of it which seems odd this close to Cannes.
@Glare
Try a search online and have a Glare.
Nup Google hasn’t heard of it either… case study?
I found it in two seconds: https://www.rescuerashie.com.au/
Well done on getting a bank that isn’t even a client to sign off on something that will hopefully save lives. Shame on Westpac’s incumbent agency, where ‘Glare’ seems to work, for producing nothing of any note for this client.
Hooray for Advertising, Saving peoples lives and the environment while accidentally selling things and winning awards along the way.

… we’ll keep you posted on it’s development.
Are prototypes in?
Innovation is the perfect category these days. A genuine opportunity to get something awarded that only got to prototype stage. They’ll clamp down on it when everyone starts exploiting it.
Agree, this category is a loophole that agencies see as an opportunity to pick up metal. But isn’t that what they’ve always done?
