Experiential director Luke Nuto returns to The Glue Society in the role of creative partner

LukeNutoBW2.jpgCB Exclusive – Luke Nuto has recently re-joined creative collective The Glue Society as one of its creative partners.

Nuto had his initial break into the communication arts in the early years of the Sydney-based creative group from 2006 to 2009 – contributing to ground-breaking projects such as 42 Below’s installation artworks as well as the multi-award winning Elle Macpherson Intimates campaign.

Since his first time at The Glue Society, Nuto has travelled and worked around the world, gathering experience in a multitude of creative disciplines, including film and TV scriptwriting – as well as customer-experience design – adding to his skills as an experiential and installation director.

Says Jonathan Kneebone, co-founder, The Glue Society: “It’s been amazing to welcome Luke back. His experience of working here in the past has allowed him to instantly settle in, and he’s already produced and contributed to some incredible work – his passion for pushing the boundaries appearing to have only increased over time.”

Since his return, Nuto has already won a Gold Pencil at AWARD for his environmental design work on BWM Denstu Melbourne’s Tailor-Made Store for Chadstone – which has also been recognised at D&AD, One Show & New York Festivals – as well as leading the design process for DDB Sydney’s VW Korama prototype.

He has also steered the Glue Society Fellowship team on various campaigns including the Art Gallery of New South Wales ‘Recreating the Kiss‘ installation – which was the only Australian piece of work recognised at this year’s Creative Review Annual.

Along with other directors at The Glue Society, Luke Nuto is represented by Revolver/Will O’Rourke for the development and execution of experiential and installation projects.
