Campaign Brief (1).jpgAs it approaches its ten-year milestone, The Jacky Winter Group shows no sign of slowing down as it once again expands its repertoire with the launch of a new microsite for its storyboarding and visualisation branch, The Bowery.

Featuring a diverse roster of award-winning artists, The Bowery is Jacky Winter’s dedicated home for storyboarders, animatic artists, and scribers.

Says Jeremy Wortsman, founder and director, The Jacky Winter Group: “While it’s not the sexiest part of the industry, our storyboarders and visualisers have consistently been working behind the scenes to help win new business for nearly every Australian agency since 2009, so it only makes sense that they have a standalone online presence supported by a purpose-driven layout that best presents the kind of work these talents are capable of, including the newer generation of artists who are really able to inject new energy into the artform.”

New to The Bowery is Fluttermatic, Jacky Winter’s newly developed service exclusively focussed on animatic design and production. Combining the storyboarding know-how of the existing Bowery stable with the motion expertise of Flutter – Jacky Winter’s full-service animation studio – the Jacky Winter team are now able to offer an end-to-end pre-visualisation service ranging from simple black and white boardomatics to fully rendered 3D previsualisations. For clients looking for that extra edge, Fluttermatic can also team up with any artist on the broader Jacky Winter roster to produce truly unique results.

Not the type to keep things quiet, Jacky Winter has also launched a new weekly podcast focussing on creative project management and production.

Titled ‘Jacky Winter Gives You The Business‘, the concept originally started as a business conference for artists and fellow creatives, and is now being turned around and repositioned to shine a light on the client-side of the industry. From art buyers and creative teams, to fellow producers and managers, the weekly show is all about offering a glimpse into the work the agency does as the bridge between clients and creatives. It’s an ongoing exploration of how to wrangle the creative process to achieve excellence, no matter what the medium.

Hosted by Wortsman, alongside producers Bianca Bramham and Lara Chan-Baker, each week the team offer their knowledge and insight into what goes on behind the scenes of creative projects, with perspectives from both their Melbourne and New York studios. Episodes are released every Friday and available on iTunes or any podcatcher of choice.
