The Portfolio Project teams up with YouthWorx Melbourne for latest work experience project

Screen Shot 2017-07-26 at 9.07.52 am.jpgThe Portfolio Project has now partnered with YouthWorx Melbourne, a registered training organisation that provides cert level courses and work experience to disadvantaged youth in multimedia and creative industries.

The Portfolio Project will go in and train young people accessing the services at YouthWorx as part of a paid work placement for the young people.

The first real project? The redesign of the YouthWorx website which the young people will be taught UX and web design skills to begin with then later the curriculum will expand to workshops and different aspects of the creative industry.

The new website is a portal where training to disadvantaged youth and young people with a disability can be done online and they can be trained in creative skills via the online portal through Skype anywhere in Australia and anywhere around the world.
