Citizens Gateway launches a global movement with Rumble as founding creative partners

The global social movement began life in 2014 as a conversation between chairman Alex de Waal and Rumble while working together on a project for TTNQ.

Says James Burchill, creative partner, Rumble: "Alex had the idea to give citizens of the world the means to step out from behind governments and take ownership of the future of the Great Barrier Reef. We are the first generation with the ability to mobilise globally and this platform can revolutionise how people connect to create meaningful action for our planet's jewel of biodiversity."

Rumble also introduced Andy Ridley, the co-founder of Earth Hour and former CEO of the Circle Economy to the movement. Ridley returned from Amsterdam in early 2017 to take up the role as CoGBR CEO and will drive the movement forward.

It's been a labour of love for the past two years for Rumble and we're really proud to have this as part of the legacy of our young agency."

Really great to see rumble and its collaborators doing something for the environment.
