Taxi Films director Steve Baker launches his long-awaited web series ‘This is Desmondo Ray!’
Taxi Film’s Steve Baker has just released his long-awaited web series, ‘This is Desmondo Ray!‘.
Based on the multi-award-winning short film ‘The Video Dating Tape of Desmondo Ray, Aged 33 & 3⁄4‘, the all new web series follows the bittersweet adventures of Desmondo Ray – a peculiar man searching for love in a dark and troubling world.
There’s plenty of love already for Desmondo, receiving a coveted Vimeo Staff Pick, and being featured on the prestigious Short of the Week website (a rare honour for an episodic series), and winning Best Web Series at its very first screening at the Chain NYC Film Festival.
This latest instalment by Baker is another striking combination of live-action and animation, mixing humour, heart, and a little darkness, into a surreal rollercoaster ride of emotions.
After the wrap of his web series, Baker is ready and raring to get back into commercial work.
