M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment appoints Peter Pippen to the role of senior strategist

Pic_Peter Pippen.jpgM&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has appointed Peter Pippen as senior strategist for the specialist sponsorship and experiential agency.

The past five years have seen Pippen working with Havas Worldwide as lead strategist for the Australian Navy, as well as Jack Daniel’s, Durex, Dettol, Mortein, Mercedes Benz, and Peugeot. Bringing his diverse background including; qualitative and quantitative research, brand positioning, integrated campaign strategy and communications planning across multiple categories, Pippen will be an excellent addition to the S&E team.

Pippen’s past lives have seen him working in roles just as varied.  Working at Regional Development Australia with a desire to support and give back to Broken Hill, his hometown, he launched an international artist residency program and opened an Art Gallery with the aim to promote emerging local Indigenous and Non-Indigenous artists. He’s also spent time living and working in Tokyo as a dialogue coach for Japanese actors in films such as The Last Samurai, Batman Begins, and Memoirs of a Geisha.
