Following its APAC expansion 72andSunny bolsters Sydney office with six new hires

Full team.jpg72andSunny Sydney has announced new hires to its growing Asia-Pacific (APAC) office. Having announced global expansion to the APAC region a few months ago, 72andSunny Sydney brings on senior producer, Helena Yueh, brand directors Kate Oliver and Simon Starr, senior brand manager, Camille Yaptinchay, writer, Ellie Jones and designer, Avani Maan.

Says Chris Kay, managing director, 72andSunny: “It’s super cool to grow a team with a mixture of the best young diverse talent from both Australia and our own company globally. We can’t wait to see what this gang will culturally deliver for our partners’ business.”

Oliver joins the team from The Monkey’s where she was the brand director on Telstra. She will lead the eBay business.

Starr will lead the Google account for 72andSunny Sydney. He comes from Leo Burnett having worked as a brand director on Johnnie Walker. Prior to that he was at BMF and worked on MLA.

Kiwi natives, Ellie Jones and Avani Maan join the creative team from M&C Saatchi where they created work for Lexus and others.

Both Helena Yueh and Camille Yaptinchay come from the 72andSunny family. Yueh recently worked at 72andSunny Amsterdam and 72andSunny Los Angeles where she produced Google’s “Year in Search” project, while Yaptinchay joins from 72andSunny Los Angeles where she worked across the Target business.
