As the world’s leading Toy, Baby and Outdoor retailer, Toys’R’Us is dedicated to bringing joy and entertainment to children (of all ages), parents and anyone that feels like a big kid at heart.

Launching in time for Summer, the new campaign encourages Australians nationwide to engage their imagination through play and toys. Toys’R’Us is championing the act of fun and enjoyment as a tool to allow us to go anywhere, become anyone and do anything.

The new campaign features five ‘hero’ children, who will appear in the TVC and in videos shared across Toys’R’Us’ channels. The children bring to life the joy of fun, through role-play, dress-up, and even a dance-off challenge! The 30-second films can be viewed online here.

Says Jessica Donovan, national marketing manager at Toys’R’Us: “At Toys’R’Us, we don’t just sell toys – we channel the imagination of kids into positive play, shaping the nature of our world tomorrow.

“As a business that is influencing our community, we always aim to look to the future as a brand. We understand the importance of paying attention to the attitudes of the younger generations. We want to challenge stereotypes, embrace diversity and champion individuality.

“That’s why we have launched Join the Fun, a campaign that celebrates the awesome power of imagination and play, and the idea that we can be anyone or anything we want!” added Donovan.

The Join the Fun campaign brings to life the Toys’R’Us brand and is currently rolling out in-store, as well as across its digital channels, social media, website and catalogues.

Australian toy lovers can get involved with the fun by using the hashtag #JoinTheFun when they are playing.
