WiTH Collective NZ lures John Marshall from M&C Saatchi to client services director role
Digital, data and customer experience agency, WiTH Collective Linked by Isobar, has announced the appointment of John Marshall to lead its New Zealand office in the role of client services director.
Marshall joins WiTH Collective following the August launch of its Auckland office, and will work closely with ANZ CEO Justin Hind and general manager Adam Parsons to lead the ASB account and drive the agency’s presence in New Zealand.
A New Zealand native, Marshall joins from M&C Saatchi, Sydney and prior to that Ogilvy Sydney where he has worked for brands such Lion, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Vodafone and Google. His work has been recognised at Cannes and a raft of other TV, film and creative award shows.
Says Hind: “We’ve been on a long search to find the perfect leader. John has had a lot of success in Australia with some of the country’s biggest brands and has the right level of passion, hunger and skill-set that aligns perfectly with our vision of providing business strategy and creative, through to customer experience and optimisation. He will be a great leader for our New Zealand team.”
Says Marshall: “The opportunity to not only join the WiTH Collective team, but to be able to lead and extend their innovative offering to the market in New Zealand is an exciting one. Add in the chance to work on a brand like ASB and it makes the decision to move back home an easy one for me. I can’t wait.”
Marshall’s role is effective immediately.

It’s funny when a suit says their work has been recognised at cannes etc.
Is there a category for carrying a bag and setting up the video link in the meeting room?
Good luck with that mate, you’ll need it.
Great talent and very good human. Nothing but the best bro!
John is one of the best in the industry. @Jason b – I’ve no doubt that any of the creatives to have worked with him on awarded business wouldn’t attribute success (at least in part) to his drive, passion and talent for spotting an opportunity and pulling the right people together to make it great (and sold). He’ll be an assset in NZ
Jason, you’re everything that’s wrong with the industry. What an absolute flea. If you’d ever worked with JM, or at a good agency, you’d realise what a shocking comment that is. Jog along, champ.
Good luck, John. Though with your talent, drive, creativity and work ethic, you won’t need luck.
If suits can be recognised for work, then designers, developers and project managers involved with the delivery and production of a project should be acknowledged as well.
THIS IS GREAT. EXCELLENT WORK. GOOD.
“If suits can be recognised for work, then designers, developers and project managers involved with the delivery and production of a project should be acknowledged as well.”
Certainly! Any creative who think their ‘idea’ doesn’t need to be managed, organised, funded, built, designed etc etc is deluded
The best suit I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. Incredibly talented, driven and most importantly: a great fella.
Great hire. Congrats Johnny, you’ll kill it over there.
