Ceremony-thumb (1).jpgThe Communications Council’s Account Planning Group (APG) has today announced a 16 strong, shortlist who will progress to the final round of the 2017 Planning Idol awards. The awards will be held at Hotel CBD (Level 4), 52 King Street in Sydney on Monday 13 November.

APG Planning Idol is a unique competition designed to raise the profile of planning and foster professionals under 30 in the discipline. Idol is part of The Communications Council overall program to support agency investment in talent.

55 submissions were accepted and reviewed by the APG Committee, responding to a brief set by Australian Red Cross centred on addressing loneliness and exclusion.

The successful 16 will now present their strategies to a panel of APG Judges and Australian Red Cross representatives in the final day of judging, before one is crowned APG Planning Idol.
