The campaign gives customers a rare opportunity to experience a piece of Moran’s much-loved neighbourhood restaurants, Chiswick Woollahra and Chiswick at the Gallery, in their own homes.

Moran and Chiswick Woollahra head chef, Tom Haynes will handpick a selection of fruit, vegetables and herbs at optimum ripeness and condition, showcasing the veryScreen Shot 2017-11-08 at 9.08.54 am.jpg best the season has to offer.

The first Chiswick veggie boxes to be delivered will feature the likes of eggplants, blood oranges, radishes, kale, heirloom tomatoes and golden nugget pumpkin, along with a guide on making the most of each ingredient. Moran and Haynes will also include the recipe for and ingredients to make Chiswick’s mint salsa, served in the restaurant alongside Chiswick’s signature dish, the Moran Family lamb shoulder.

Moran and his team searched for the perfect vehicle and transformed a retro 1960s van into the Chiswick Veggie Van, with the help of Solotel’s in-house graphic design team. Covered in original vegetable illustrations, the van is a moving representation of the spring garden. Solotel engaged Amplify to help bring the Veggie Van concept to life, while Infinity Squared captured the look and feel of the campaign through photography and video, styled beautifully by Sian Redgrave.

Says Dan Lacaze, marketing director, Solotel Group: “The Chiswick Veggie Van gives us an opportunity to transplant one of the most unique and iconic aspects of the Chiswick brand straight into the homes of Sydneysiders. It’s really different to anything we’ve done before and just one of the ways our marketing strategy is evolving across our portfolio of venues.”

The complimentary veggie boxes will be delivered on Fridays in November (10, 17, 24).
